A new defibrillator has been installed outside the Killina Presentation Resource Centre, which will be of fantastic benefit to the local community.
A defibrillator is a device that gives a high energy electric shock to the heart of someone who is in cardiac arrest making it a vital piece of equipment to have close to hand in case of such an emergency.
The new resource centre is hosting the defibrillator on behalf of the Rahan First Responders who raised the funds needed through community donations via a GoFundMe page https://bit.ly/2HXc9oW. Training courses will be provided once Covid-19 restrictions are lifted.
